2005 Classic
In 2005 the Ergohuman Classic is launched. The first chair with a 2 piece backrest to separate the lumbar support from the upper back to better support the natural S curve of the human spine
2010 Elite
In 2010 the Ergohuman Elite is launched as an evolution of the Classic. With true synchro tilt and 4D armrests, the Elite becomes known as the Ergohuman V2
2022 Elite Gen 2
In 2022 the Ergohuman Chair is re-designed for automated production. Improvements in quality, ergonomics and durability build on the strengths of the previous models to be better than ever
2025 Gen 2 Update
In November 2025 the Ergohuman Gen 2 will be updated with an updated aluminium chassis, new armrests, seat tension control and a new mesh option in the Luxury SE.

Ergohuman Australia exclusively markets Ergohuman Office Chairs in Australia and now New Zealand. As specialists in the Ergohuman range of products, we offer expert advice, spares and support for owners of Ergohuman Chairs.
Where are Ergohuman Chairs made?
All Ergohuman Chairs are manufactured in a state of the art automated factory in Guangzhou, China. A vertically integrated operation, all components are manufactured in house with proprietary technology. Watch the automated assembly line here.
Sustainability
Ergohuman has been designed with sustainability in mind. Manufactured with 21 recycled materials and 98% recyclable at end of life, an Ergohuman Chair exceeds sustainability targets.

Where can I try an Ergohuman Chair?
The best way to try an ergonomic chair is to use one full time for a few days. Changing your office chair can result in discomfort initially as you adjust to a different seating posture. We do not have showrooms and the Ergohuman range is available online only.
We offer a 60 day change of mind returns process if the Chair does not work for you. If you decide to take advantage of the return, we refund the Chair but not the delivery or return shipping costs.

Who makes Ergohuman Chairs?
Ergohuman Office Chairs are designed and manufactured by Comfort Workspace in Guangzhou, China. All components of an Ergohuman Chair are manufactured in house ensuring that parts are available for all models since 2005.

Where is Ergohuman Australia based?
Ergohuman Australia is based in Sydney but does not currently operate a Retail Outlet that is open to the Public. However this may change in the future as Ergohuman grows in Australia.
What is the warranty on an Ergohuman Chair?
An Ergohuman Chair is designed to last 10 years in full time use of 8 hours per working day under normal use conditions and maintenance.
To provide peace of mind that your Chair will last, we include a 5 year Warranty for the older models and a 10 year Warranty for the Gen 2 update models available from November 2025.
