What is the difference between the Elite and Luxury?
SEThe Ergohuman 2 Luxury SE is based on the Elite mark II with additional features and options.
The Luxury has a new Mesh quality with a softer hand feel and premium aluminium finished controls. There are also additional polished aluminium finishes the arm rest brackets and the headrest stem.
Luxury SE chairs offer a choice of Leather options in Black, Dark Brown, Burgundy and Grey in an Italian sourced Top Grain leather.
What upholstery available on the Luxury?
The Luxury offers options for the Executive suite. Available in all mesh, a combo with leather seat and mesh backrest and an all leather chair in 4 colour options.
All materials are deigned to last at 10 years in normal 8 hour a day use. The Leather is a premium Italian sourced top grain leather that will develop a nice patina over a few years of use.
Can I retro fit a legrest to a Luxury chair?
It is possible to retro fit a legrest on a Mesh chair. We stock the legrest in black and grey mesh which will work well with other colours. Installation is straight forward and you can view a Video here.
We do not recommend retro installation on a Leather seat.
What is the advantage of a cast aluminium frame?
The cast aluminium frame brings durability and a reassuringly solid feeling to the chair. While it is more expensive than composite or plastic, it helps the chair achieve certification for heavy duty applications.
The Aluminium also looks great giving the chair a premium futuristic aesthetic.
How long will a Luxury chair last for?
An Ergohuman chair is designed and engineered to last many years in normal full time use. We offer a 10 year warranty for peace of mind. Full warranty terms are available here
The 10 year warranty does not cover 24 hour use or 3 shifts a day. For multi-shift work we pro-rata the warranty to the equivalent number of shifts.
Where is the Luxury SE manufactured?
‘The Ergohuman range is manufactured in China in a ‘state of the art’ automated factory. The assembly is completed by robots to achieve a high quality fit and finish.
This makes an Ergohuman Chair one of the most technologically advanced office chairs on the market.
