The Ergohuman Generation 2 Elite Mesh Chair no headrest replaces the Elite V2 and is the first re-design of the Ergohuman Chair for over 10 years. Â Now manufactured on an automated production line to improve quality and finish. Â For those that do not require a Headrest, this version does not come with a headrest.
New adjustment points have been added:
- Lumbar Support Firmness adjustment
- Forearm support in armrest for using mobile devices
- Forward Tilt function

Excellent company to deal with, very well made chairs
This is my second Ergohuman chair. This first one (older model) lasted many years and I never had a sore back sitting there for up to 18hrs in a day. This Elite chair is certainly very well made and the company is very good to deal with. Unfortunately, for me, it's just not as comfortable as the old one was. The back rest curves towards the neck at the top, which I don't find ergonomic at all. It would probably be OK if the back rest went high enough that the curve was up just above shoulder height but it doesn't. The ratchet stops on the back rest stop well short of this height. I've gained a little bit more height by cable tying the back rest up to the top of the support frame (above the ratchet stops). It's still not quite high enough though. With all this said, I am a fairly big guy and if you are not, then it probably won't be an issue for you.
