The original Ergohuman 2 Elite was launched in 2023 as a complete re design of the original Elite and was on sale until November 2025.
The Ergohuman 2 Elite mark II is an update with a new chassis and armrest design plus 2 new ergonomic features. The new model now has seat tension control and the recline limiter.

The most popular version of the Elite is the all Mesh chair. Mesh is ideal for an ergonomic chair as it provides good support, it breathes for coolness and is very durable.
Also available is a fabric/mesh combo with a fabric seat and a mesh backrest. This combines the softer texture of a fabric on the seat while retaining the benefits of the mesh on the backrest.
The Fabric seat has a layer of foam under the fabric and is suspended on Mesh. This provides good elasticity and absorbs less heat than a traditional foam base on a solid base.
It is possible to retro fit a legrest on a Mesh chair. We stock the legrest in black and grey mesh which will work well with other colours. Installation is straight forward and you can view a Video here.
We do not recommend retro installation on a fabric seat as its more difficult to install the brackets.
The cast aluminium frame brings durability and a solid and stable feeling to the chair. While it is more expensive than composite or plastic, it enables the chair to achieve certification for heavy duty applications.
The Aluminium also looks great giving the chair a modern and premium aesthetic. The new chassis design on the mark II lends a more futuristic aesthetic.
An Ergohuman chair is designed and engineered to last many years in normal full time use. We offer a 10 year warranty on the new Elite mark II for peace of mind.
The 10 year warranty does not cover 24 hour use or 3 shifts a day. For multi-shift work we pro-rata the warranty to the equivalent number of shifts.
